The right way to see Tuscany
Alessandra was a delightful host that accompanied us on our tour. Going to a smaller vineyard that only produces 20,000 bottles versus a bigger vineyard was the right way to get a feel for the local wine. The wine tasting was terrific and the food pairing was perfect. The Brunello Montalcino was excellent. The family takes care of their acerage and their “meats” themselves. Later in the day we were able to visit another winery, bigger, with a complete pairing lunch. The food, the wine and the view were incredible. The host Alessandra was also responsible for helping us find the perfect villa to stay at. A superb experience.
