We had the pleasure of going to three different wineries in Montalcino. Each winery we went to was so beautiful and the wines were all amazing! Each took lots of time to explain the wine making process to us, and made our experience better than we could have ever imagined. Franco,our driver, filled in the blanks with his knowledge of the rich history of the region and its early inhabitants. All in all, this was a wonderful day’s immersion into Tuscan culture and winemaking, the memory of which only makes us dream again, of the day when we can return to this beautiful place. Thank you Alessandra, Franco, and all our hosts at the wineries, for a truly, once in a lifetime adventure.
The best wine tasting tour!!!
We booked a full day with WTA, best day we spent in Italy. We were traveling with another couple and we are all big wine drinkers. We chose the Brunello wine tour, 3 wineries, it was over the top. The wine, the olive oil and the food was all incredible. We are used to Napa and Sonoma wine tours, this was so much more. The wineries know how to pour a good glass of wine for tasting. By the third winery we had to tell them “no more food”. I highly recommend this tour, the service is incredible, we were picked up and dropped off at our castle! The people at the wineries treated us like royalty, amazing! Our driver was very nice and accommodating, even after the
3rd winery…. we tend to get loud after drinking!
