My name is Alessandra Chiti.

Founder & Owner

I was born in Florence, Italy but lived in southern Spain until I was ten when my family moved to the Chianti region of Tuscany where my grandmother and her family had grown up. I obtained a degree in Modern Languages in Siena (I speak English and Spanish fluently) and then worked at my family’s pottery business, Rampini Ceramics, near Radda. I soon realised my passions lay elsewhere so I started a new adventure working in various wineries in the region.
First at the small Capannelle (famous for its 50&50 Igt “Super Tuscan”) and then for Barone Ricasoli at Brolio Castle.
I learnt the trade from the bottom, bottling and labelling wine by hand.
It was at Brolio that the Barone Ricasoli offered me a job welcoming visitors, doing tours of the cellars, explaining the wine-making process and organising wine, grappa and olive oil tastings.

I have continued my professional training with wine by taking my 1st level FISAR sommelier course in February 2006.
It is hard not to be passionate about the delicious food and wonderful wine in this corner of the world!
The homely style of Tuscan cooking together with the superlative wines of the region is a winning combination.

After the experience at Brolio I decided I wanted to share my love for this charming and beautiful part of Italy with a wider audience and I set up Wine Tour Adventure.
After a lifetime of travelling with my family, friends and alone, I understood that the best way to appreciate what a particular place has to offer is to talk to the locals. And if you get to know me, you will realise I love to talk!

I am proud to share with you my extensive local knowledge of wineries, restaurants, places to visit and sights to see.
And what’s more, we go to places off the beaten track that the “average” tourist would never get to see. It is this unparalleled in-depth local knowledge that will make the world of difference to your understanding and appreciation of all that Tuscany has to offer.

Giorgia Casadio

Official City Guide & Small Group Activities Coordinator 

Giorgia was born near Bologna but made Siena her home after falling in love with Tuscan art and wine and has spent the better part of her life working with both, first at a School of Italian Language and Culture and then at a Chianti winery, where she divided her time between the hospitality of the cellar doors and international sales.
Since 2018, Giorgia has spent her time roaming Tuscany as a local tour guide, unravelling the layers of history among the cobblestone streets and monuments of Siena or San Gimignano, or winding through the rolling hills of the Chianti and the val d’Orcia.

She loves local crafts, foods and wines, history and traditions and loves to share this passion with anyone wanting to visit the area on a guided,  authentic experience!

Camilla Catellacci

Professional Driver & Guide

I was born and raised in Florence and started work as soon as I graduated from scientific high school, mainly working in the fashion business, initially as a sales rep and then as commercial manager.
I lived in Milan for 2 years, in the heart of the fashion world and for 3 years I also worked as a diving instructor in Kenya.

I quit my business in 2004 when I had three wonderful children, to dedicate my time and energy to take care of them: the most amazing experience I have had.

When they grew up, I started a new adventure working as campus and program manager for an American University Consortium. The course was very interesting, on sustainable agriculture, but unfortunately the Consortium discontinued during the  Covid pandemic… and I became a local driver guide.

It’s a fantastic line of work that has permitted me to meet a lot of people from different places, of different ages and backgrounds, and to share with them  experiences in the land that I love: Tuscany.

I am passionate about nature, sports and mostly people and the world of volunteering. I am part of an association of forest firefighting and public assistance.
The world of volunteering is filled with generous and altruistic people, the kind of people I prefer.
