On the road to San Gimignano our guide will introduce you into the history of this romantic and well preserved medieval village.
Our first stop will allow you, during the Wine School, to learn about the wine making process and white Vernaccia production rules.
We have selected for our Guest some of the best local wineries to let them taste a whole range of Tuscan top red and white wines.
In fact, the selected wineries produce not only the local white wine Vernaccia but also the big Tuscan Reds as Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Chianti Classico Riserva, and Supertuscans.
To complete the tasting we will serve you the famous Tuscan dessert wine Vinsanto and finally we will show you how to professionally taste the famous Aceto Balsamico di Modena and the flavored Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Afterwards, we will venture into San Gimignano village for lunch, sightseeing and shopping through the city centre.
In San Gimignano is possible to climb up the “Torre Grossa” to enjoy a spectacular view over the valley or, if you prefer, you can taste some more wine at the “Vernaccia Wine Museum”.
