Our private Chianti Wine tour is mainly tailor-made and, according to wineries availability, the pick-up time can vary from 9:00AM until 10:30AM, having the possibility to switch cellar tour, wine tastings and sightseeing.
After the pick-up we will reach the Chianti area driving through beautiful narrow country roads. First we will visit a small medieval village for sightseeing and learning about local history and traditions.
Then we will move to one of the oldest and prestigious Chianti wineries as Fonterutoli, Tenuta Casanova, Brancaia, Albola, Rocca di Castagnoli and others, where expert English speaking guides will explain us about the wine making process from the vine growing to the bottle ageing.
The wine expert will guide us to taste the products from the younger Chianti Classico DOCG wine to the older and prestigious Chianti Riserva and Supertuscan.
It's also possible to taste White Wine, Vinsanto, Grappa and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, according to the winery production.
We have selected for lunch some of the best restaurants of the region, where you will appreciate the tasty and gourmet Tuscany dishes.
In the afternoon is possible to visit another winery as well as touring one of the characteristic Chianti villages for sightseeing and shopping.
Upon request our Chianti Wine tour can include a visit to: Rampini Ceramics workshop and showroom, Chianti Cashmere, Brolio Castle and gardens.
