My name is Alessandra Chiti.
I’m originally from Florence but I grew up in Malaga,
southern part of Spain.
At the age of 11 my family and I moved back in the Chianti-shire.
In Siena I obtained my degree in modern languages and I immediately started working in various local wineries (Capannelle first and Barone Ricasoli in Brolio after), doing tours of the cellars, showing and explaining the winemaking process, organizing wine, grappa and olive oil tasting.
Now, after almost 5 years of experience and passion for this work I’ve decided to enlarge this beautiful adventure offering you the possibility to discover, enjoy and love this charming part of Italy.
I speak English, French and Spanish.
Last winter I’ve got my first Wine Sommelier Certificate;
I’m also an Olive Oil taster.
I am partnered by Michele Sica, owner of 2Be Travel Designers.
During my last occupation I had the honor to be involved by my manager in participating at some important Italians Wine Fairs (“Vinitaly” in Verona and “Merano Wine Festival” in Merano).
There I took advantage to visit, taste and learn more about some of the most popular wineries located in the Sienese territory, where I’ve been living since 1990.
Thanks to my parents I’m proud to consider myself a good traveler and as a traveler I’m probably able to understand better than others what it means to find a good service, kind local people and to be welcomed in a foreign country.
Nowadays I consider myself satisfied, having the possibility to combine all my biggest passions:
- the Eno-gastronomical aspect of a region;
- the prospect to spend my working time with nice and multicultural people;
- perhaps, to remain in contact with a new foreign friend!
Tourism in Tuscany runs mainly from April until October permitting me to travel all over the world in winter time.
My last voyage was in Australia where I spent almost four months discovering all it’s amazing treasures... including wine obviously!
Even if traveling... my heart always brings me back to Tuscany!
That’s it... I’m waiting for you!
